Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ShelfKeeper, a service operated by Ivula Technologies. By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old and provide an accurate email address. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure.

Your content

You own the library data you add. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide ShelfKeeper to you, including showing your public catalogue when you turn it on. Only add borrower contact details you have permission to use, and do not use ShelfKeeper to send unwanted messages.

Plans and billing

• The Free plan is free. Paid plans are billed monthly in US dollars through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled.
• You can cancel anytime from Settings, Manage billing. Your paid features continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months unless required by law.
• If a payment fails or a plan ends, your account moves to the Free allowance. Nothing is deleted, but you cannot add books beyond that allowance until you upgrade.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email; changes apply from your next billing period.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, attempt to access other accounts, overload or probe our systems, or use ShelfKeeper for anything unlawful.

Availability

We work to keep ShelfKeeper available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Reminders depend on email delivery, which we cannot guarantee.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ivula Technologies is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost or unreturned books, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your use

You may stop using ShelfKeeper and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
